Today (Friday, May 4) at 12pm EST, well be streaming live video from the Clipmarks HQ! This is our first shot at doing a live event, so we’re going to be experimenting and having some fun as we record today’s Clipiversity. We’ll have an embedded version of the stream here on clipiversity.com as well as a link to the live feed where you can ask us questions chat with anybody else who’s watching.
We’re looking forward to trying UStream out and seeing how a live show goes, hope to see you there!

On today’s Clipiversity, we talk about this morning’s myspace “no gay” debacle, and the news that Imus is suing CBS. We also talk about the psychological “Romeo and Juliet” effect that makes you want the things you’re told you can’t have, and how the people of Iran are starting to go all angsty-teenager on Ahmadinejad. Finally, we cover DARPA’s awesome new mind-reading binoculars and, getting ready for friday, we go over the 5 steps to pouring a perfect beer.

Clipmarks Announcements:
We’ve added the ability to see who’s following a clipper at a glance. You’ll notice a number to the right of each clippername - that’s how many people follow that clipper. Click on the number to see who’s following that clipper, and to add them to your “my clippers” list.
You can now also post to multiple blogs at once, using clip-to-blog. It makes it easy to save many different blogs on different topics to our system and quickly send clips to any or all of them at once!
